Featured Artist / Soft Stylist Kate McCann
After graduating from college with a fine arts degree, Kate McCann received a job as a fashion design assistant. While enjoying fashion design, she found herself drawn to the work of the photography and creative departments and transferred into this area as an editor and producer. While on location, Kate began to style the still life shots. Doing this work made her realize that she would like to concentrate on soft goods styling. She then took an opportunity to work at J. Crew as a full time soft goods stylist. After spending over four years at J.Crew, Kate took a position at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. For the past eight years, Kate has been freelancing and enjoys the diversity that freelance work brings.
As many of us in this business, Kate is an avid reader of fashion, shelter, and art magazines. She also enjoys movies, art exhibits, and flea markets. And finds that even a simple dog walk can be inspirational.
A few of Kate's clients include Victoria's Secret, J.Crew, Talbots and Coach. To view a complete client list as well as her online portfolio, visit our website www.marnieroseagency.com
