New Cookbooks Styled by Leslie Siegel

Two new cookbooks styled by Leslie Siegel have hit the shelves this month.

Easy Asian Noodles, for all of you noodle enthusiasts. Written by Helen Chen, with food styling by Jamie Kimm and photography by Jason Wyche. And Allergy-Free Desserts; gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free yummy delights. Written by Elizabeth Gorden, with food styling by Brian Preston-Campbell and photography by Jason Wyche. Both books published by John Wiley & Sons.

 

Artist of the Month: Photographer BJ Formento

Fairly new to the roster, photographer BJ Formento specializes in creating lifestyle, fashion and fine art photographs that are a combination of glamour and edge. BJ was born in Hawaii, raised in the Philippines, and moved back to the US during his high school years where he immediately found his true calling in photography. After receiving a degree in photography from the Academy of Arts University San Fransisco, BJ relocated to New York City and currently splits his time between the two coasts.

Over the past two months BJ has been traveling the country working on a solo project entitled "Circumstance". Keep your eyes peeled for some amazing images from the series.

BJ also owns and operates a successful stock image company, Eyecandy Images, which was recently featured in a two page spread in Picture Magazine.
