Artist of the Month: Gerri Williams
Gerri Williams is originally from Oklahoma City, OK. Having always been fascinated with objects, shapes and textures, she decided to move to New York City to pursue a career in fashion and design. After working for several high-end fashion boutiques, she opted for a more creative outlet. Gerri was asked to assist on a photo shoot, and that was the beginning of her career as a prop stylist. It was then that she realized she could make a living from something that came second nature to her.
Gerri is excited and energized with every new project that comes her way. Like many artists, seeing her work published always gives her a thrill.
In her spare time, Gerri enjoys spending time on her personal projects, making hand made greeting cards with quilling art and watercolor paints. When she is not on a job or spending time on her personal projects, she is enjoying the company of her her husband (also an artist) and her beautiful 10 year old daughter (an aspiring singer/ actress).
A few of Gerri's clients include Woman's Day, Natural Health, Parents, Ladies Home Journal, Food Network Magazine, and Mannington Floors.
